THE CHALLENGE:
Our client, an international maintenance and overhaul company, had an urgent requirement for tooling required in Crawley, United Kingdom. The tooling was located in Milan in Italy.
The requirement of the tooling was required to avoid a line stoppage. Although small the item was mission critical.
THE SOLUTION:
Step 1: We arranged collection within an hour of deployment in Milan.
Step 2: HSM Global utilised our network of trained and insured on board couriers. Our courier was on the next available scheduled passenger flight to Heathrow shortly after collection.
Step 3: A HSM Global driver was on standby at Heathrow to meet the Onboard courier to retrieve the tooling and deliver direct into Crawley.
THE RESULT:
Door to door service with a “record breaking” transit time of 6 hours.
